Seconds To Serenity

Seconds To Serenity is a Chicago-based alternative metal band recognized for blending heavy guitar riffs, atmospheric soundscapes, and emotionally charged songwriting. Their music considers themes of grief, isolation, resilience, and self-growth, creating a melody that is both powerful and cathartic. After releasing their debut album Scarlet in 2013 and the Learn To Fly EP in 2015, the band re-emerged in 2025, led by founding vocalist Jake LoGiudice with Brian Benischek, Dana Goggin, and Draven DC. Adopting a darker, more refined sound, they released several singles ahead of their 2025 album Nexus. Tracks such as “Dark Skies” and “Decay” further highlight their combination of intense instrumentation, atmospheric textures, and story-driven songwriting.
